Social engagement

At CD PROJEKT we create revolutionary role-playing games with memorable stories that inspire gamers. At the same time, we would like to have a positive impact on our social environment as well. We integrate all our employees through the promotion of our shared values. We build a sense of belonging and share our knowledge and skills. In terms of social engagement, we prioritize initiatives that support our local community and the video game industry.

Before initiating a project, we first verify what the supported initiative is meant to achieve and how the results will be measured. At each stage of the project, we can check whether the funds we have donated are in fact being used for their intended purpose.

We support and carry out projects with such aims as:

Promoting openness to diversity, creativity and innovation in the game industry

Fighting social exclusion

  • supporting the participation of a CD PROJEKT’s employee in the qualifiers for the Paralympics in Paris in the wheelchair fencing competition;
  • donating to foundations supporting the LGBTQ+ community to provide legal and psychological support for community members at risk of exclusion);

Promoting equal social and development opportunities

  • we shared space on our campus with the Ocalenie Foundation, which runs Polish language courses for refugees and persons seeking international protection;

Improving education for pupils and students and providing equipment to schools

Humanitarian aid, excluding any and all military initiatives

We also carry out regular initiatives. Every year, we are a partner of the Wielka Orkiestra Świątecznej Pomocy campaign, where we auction off items and experiences for our fans. During the festive period, we also organise internal charity auctions.

We do not support…

  • organizations that discriminate on the basis of race, skin color, creed, sex, religion, age, national origin or sexual orientation
  • organizations that violate the law or have a negative impact on the environment
  • political organizations, election committees or persons holding public office
