Cyberpunk 2077’s Development Team Awarded at the 2024 BAFTA Games Awards!

CD PROJEKT RED proudly announces that during the 20th British Academy Game Awards, Cyberpunk 2077’s development team received the award for Evolving Game.

The awards took place this Thursday on April 11th at the Queen Elizabeth Hall in London to celebrate the very best games of 2023 and the developers who worked on them. The entirety of the ceremony was available live on major social and streaming platforms around the world.

During the ceremony, Cyberpunk 2077’s development team received the BAFTA Award for Evolving Game for their excellence in ongoing developer support. Maciej Włodarkiewicz (VP, Central Production), Agata Tokarska (Acting Lead Producer), Tomasz Herbrich (Publishing Tech QA Acting Lead) and Monika Janowska (Senior Producer) from CD PROJEKT RED took to the stage to receive the award.

I’m so happy to be here and this is such a special award for us, because it was quite a bumpy road for us, to be frank. I wanna thank all of my team, not only the development team that we are on behalf of here today, but also other teams supporting us’ – said Maciej Włodarkiewicz during his acceptance speech, adding that without the Cyberpunk 2077 community getting this recognition would not be possible.

The awards ceremony can be rewatched on BAFTA’s official channels on YouTube and Twitch.
