The CD Projekt RED Studio has published a new trailer of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, introducing the world of one of this year’s most anticipated games. The trailer was unveiled at the VGX gala presentation, where The Witcher 3 was officially nominated to the title of “The most anticipated game of 2014”.
“The Witcher universe continues to expand and grow in depth – and we always treasure moments when we can present something entirely new to the players. The VGX gameplay trailer introduces new, exciting aspects of the game. We are keen to receive feedback from fans, as their opinions are crucial to us.” – says Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, Game Director at the CD Projekt RED Studio, part of the CD PROJEKT Group.
The trailer, which can be seen here also reveals parts of the game’s soundtrack, some of which has been recorded using traditional Slavic instruments. This helps evoke a unique feeling, suitable to the character of the game world. Among the acclaimed bands contracted for collaboration on the game’s soundtrack is the Percival group.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be released next year for the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Thus far over 6 million copies of The Witcher games have been sold worldwide. The Witcher 3 is widely regarded as one of the most anticipated releases of 2014 (Golden Joystick, VGX, IGN).
