„Jakub Wędrowycz" is the story-driven collectible card game based on the bestselling stories by Andrzej Pilipiuk, published by Fabryka Słów. Due to the inventive rule set, the game allows single player gameplay, although as any other card game, it provides the most entertainment while playing with others (two, three, four or more players). The mechanics are accessible and intuitive, letting less experienced players to get easily acquainted with the rules and further engrossing them in this unique form of entertainment.

CD Projekt announces the start of a publishing partnership involving the latest simulation games with the genre’s leading publisher – the German company astragon Software GmbH. Astragon is a pioneer on the simulator market and releases its games globally in 7 languages. “Partnering up with astragon Software is another important step in our company’s development. We truly want to provide the popular, yet still underestimated simulation games market in Poland all the necessary care and support” – said Michał Gembicki, CD Projekt’s managing director.

In order to increase sales of such products as Magic: The Gathering and Dungeons & Dragons, as well as the support from retailers and players, the Wizards of the Coast company wishes to introduce changes in the organization of distribution across Poland. Starting December 31, 2011 the company ISA Sp. z o.o. is no longer the official distributor of Wizards of the Coast products. Starting January 1, 2012 CD Projekt Sp. z o. o. becomes the new Polish distributor. Wizards of the Coast will remain in strict cooperation with CD Projekt in order to effectively support the Wizards Play Network program in stores across Poland. This will allow for the development of a tournament scene and in turn increase the number of players.
